Size Guide
Vintage sizing is not consistent. A tag marked "M" from 2003 is rarely the same as an "M" today, and Japanese sizing differs from US and EU sizing. Please use the flat measurements on each product page, not the size on the tag.
How we measure
Every garment is laid flat and measured in centimetres. Measurements are taken on one side only and are not doubled.
| Measurement | How it is taken |
|---|---|
| Shoulder | Seam to seam across the back |
| Chest | Straight across, 2 cm below the armhole |
| Length | From the highest point of the shoulder to the hem |
| Sleeve | From the shoulder seam to the cuff |
| Waist | Straight across the waistband |
| Inseam | From the crotch seam to the hem |
How to use them
Take a garment you already own and like the fit of, lay it flat, and measure it the same way. Compare those numbers to ours. This is far more accurate than converting size labels.
Allow 1–2 cm of variation. These are used garments and many have been washed and worn for years.
