AI Imagery

Some product pages include a styling image created with AI. This page explains exactly what that means, so you know what you are buying.

What is real and what is not

Image What it is
Photos 1 onward Real photographs of the actual garment you will receive. Shot flat, unretouched. Condition, fading and flaws are visible as they are.
Final image (when present) AI-generated styling image. The person is not real. The garment is a rendering, not a photograph of your item.

Why we use it

Every item we sell is one of a kind, so we cannot photograph each piece on a model. The AI image exists to show how a piece of this type sits when worn — proportions, length, styling. Nothing more.

What the AI image does not tell you

  • It is not the exact print. Patterns are re-drawn, not reproduced. Spot placement on a leopard print, for example, will differ from the real garment.
  • It does not show condition. Wear, fading, small stains and repairs are not rendered. Always judge condition from the real photos and the condition rank.
  • It does not show exact colour. Judge colour from the real photos.
  • It is not a size reference. Use the flat measurements on the product page.

If they disagree, the real photos win

Where an AI styling image differs from the real photographs, the real photographs and the listed measurements are the description of the goods. If what you receive does not match the real photos or the stated condition, contact us — see our Refund Policy.

How it is labelled

Every AI image is marked in three ways: a caption on the image, a note in the product description, and machine-readable metadata identifying it as AI-generated, in line with the EU AI Act transparency requirements.
